In 2018 the Australian Veteran Golf Championships will be held in the Port Stephens area and we are pleased to announce that Horizons Golf Resort will be participating as one of the courses for the Championship!
We are forming a Horizons Veteran Golfers Group in light of this prestigious event and members of the group will have the opportunity to participate in the many events and benefits available to veteran golfers through the national and state bodies. This is open to members, guests and visitors to Horizons.
Details
- Open to men aged over 55 years and women agend over 50 years.
- The Group will play on Tuesdays at Horizons.
- There is no commitment required of members to play all; or any of the competitions run by the Group, nor is there a commitment to play in any of the Veteran Golf events throughout the year.
Cost and timings
- Competition fee is $8.
- Visiting Vets will pay the comp fee of $8 plus a special green fee of $30.
- A dedicated weekly time slot of 8-9:30am will be held for this group.
